Mandatory Information  & Guidelines for Parents

  1. Students are allotted rooms/dormitories according to their age and class. They are not allowed to stay in the rooms during school hours, games, activities during study time.
  2. Facilities for sports and games are available to the boarders for their all round development and growth.
  3. Recreational facilities like indoor games, TV and news papers are provided to the boarders.
  4. Rooms have to be kept neat and clean and clean at all times.
  5. They should always be punctual and maintain strict discipline.
  6. They should not waste water and electricity.
  7. Boarders are not allowed to keep any money, valuables, any electronic gadget or mobile phones etc. with them.  If found the same would be confiscated.
  8. Parents are not allowed to meet their wards during week days. They can visit their wards on 2nd Sunday or holiday.
  9. Fancy belts, rings, trinkets, make-up sets, nail polish, hair colours, henna will be confiscated if brought to school.
  10. Fancy hair cut, beard design and shaving style are prohibited.
  11. In case of sickness, it should be reported to dormitory in charge and to the resident Doctor or Nurse for the appropriate action.
  12. All incidental expenses of the boarders will be recovered from their account.
  13. Boarders are not allowed to visit or stay in others dorm after 10:00 p.m.
  14. Boarders have to pay all dues  towards the school before leaving the boarding .
  15. Any damage caused to the school property will be viewed and violence and recovered along with fine.
  16. Reporting to the hostel after 05:00p.m. will not be entertained.
  17. Boarders are not allowed to keep or take any medicines or tonic without the knowledge of hostel warden/matron/resident nurse.
  18. All the boarders should converse in English in the hostel and in the school premises to develop their language skills.
  19. Boarders are forbidden to contact outsiders without the permission of the Principal.
  20. No boarder is allowed to go home except during approved terminal holidays.
  21. Permission to go home should be granted by Principal only and students so permitted should inform the warden before leaving and when reporting.
  22. Books, magazines and periodicals not approved by the Principal are strictly prohibited.
  23. Girls are strictly forbidden to use valuable gold ornaments except small ear rings.
  24. Boarders are not allowed to give gifts to the teachers except on the teacher’s day as directed by the Principal.
  25. Girls are not allowed to use henna, collyrium, nail polish, hair colour, lipstick etc.
  26. Identity cards must be worn with the uniform.
  27. Students (above the 10 years of age) and their parents should sign the hostel application form along with the rules and regulations.
  28. Three passport size photographs of the students should be submitted along with the hostel application form.
  29. Bedding, pillows, bed sheet, blanket, bucket, mug etc. will be provided in the hostel.
  30. Hostel Reception room is the only venue for receiving visitors and no visitors will be permitted to enter any other part of the hostel.
  31. Parent should get exit/entry cards signed by the warden while going home and coming after holidays.
  32. Students should not keep more than three pair of casuals dress other than their uniform in the hostel.
  33. Students should keep modesty, decency and decorum in their behavior, dress and hair style.
  34. Eatables from outside, junk food, carbonated drink, chocolate etc. not allowed in the hostel.
  35. Students suffering from infectious diseases or severe emotional syndromes will not be allowed to stay in the hostel.  They will return to the hostel only after full recovery from ailments.
  36. Medical treatment charges if incurred are to be paid by the end of that term itself.
  37. Student should be on coming back to hostel after holidays on the stipulated dates itself. Those who fail in doing so will be subjected to stern action.  A fine of Rupees 200(Two hundred) will be imposed for late arrival. Further  more, the school recover the  right to terminate the hostel admission of any student not reporting back in time.
  38. Boarders should take their meals in common dining hall and should be properly dressed at the meal times. Mess utensils are not allowed to be taken out of the dining hall.
  39. Boarders must not remove any electrical fittings, lights, bulbs, fans etc. from the hostel. Any violation will be strictly dealt with.
  40. Parents should give detailed list of persons likely to visit their wards in the hostel and escort them home during holidays students will not be permitted to leave the campus without an escort unless parents make a special request to do otherwise, boys below std. IX and all girls students do not have this option to leave the campus without an authorized escort.
  41. Parents should take prior permission from the warden to meet their wards. (visiting time is 03:00 to 04:00 p.m. other than second Sunday)
  42. Parents should not give their mobile phones to other students to make call.
  43. Boarders should not receive visitors or go out of the hostel without the permission of the warden/matron.

44. The cases that justify the removal of the students from the hostel by the school authorities are:-

  • Offences involving honesty and morality.
  • Grave and habitual insubordination.
  • Violence and grouping.
  • Using abusive language.
  • Stealing or extortion/items from other student, bullying , assaulting and ragging in any form.
  • Using unfair means in any examination.
  • Consistent unsatisfactory progress in studies.
  • Harmful conduct to other students.
  • Violent knocking at the door.
