Speech on Leaders Competition – Independence Week 2026
The Independence Week celebrations began on 10th August 2026 with the Speech on Leaders Competition, where students from all four houses honored India’s great leaders through powerful performances.
Varsha Dehriya of Aravali House portrayed Lala Lajpat Rai and secured the first position. Nupur Netam of Himalaya House spoke on Sarojini Naidu, earning the second position. The third position was shared in a tie between Abhishek Sahu of Shivalik House, who represented B. R. Ambedkar, and Karuna Sakshi of Sahyadri House, who spoke on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The event was judged by Mr. Mohit, Mr. Mohanty, and Ms. Bishworani, who praised the participants for their confidence, expression, and patriotic spirit.

This competition set a vibrant tone for the week-long celebrations, inspiring students to carry forward the values of leadership and eloquence.
